Today’s Message or Messages is on “Message”
Welcome to the continuation of Life’s Journey, for the living and with the many questions to follow and not many answers to be found. The following conversation came after the passing of a very good friend and to his last words to me in person. Over the years of being around on this planet, I have been asking questions, and it has become a trademark with me, always asking questions mostly of me, and repeating them.
Not only that I have been repeating them, but I have also been getting or given the answers as well, to those questions. So, was I not getting them, well easy, I was not paying attention to the answers, too busy asking the questions or refusing to accept the answers.
That said, the last words that were shared with me, from him, got my attention, yes, but now what am I going to do about it? Some of you who will be reading this may know the person I am referring to; we would say he was a very simple person. With a long list of not-so-perfect, but, yet very perfect in many ways, that would be our view of him. And that list would be as long as the years each of us knew him. Funny and not so funny, we have so much to say about him today, now that he is no longer here with us, but while he was, how many of us ever told him what we think and that includes me? In the above I stated that the passing of this person left me with a message, what was the message, many would like to know. Well, the message was for me, and though messages will appear to be the same, they’re just similar in most cases, for others.
All in the way each of us will want to intrepid it and this word Message, what is it and why is it here? During our lifetime to date, most of us that are here, have heard about the message in a bottle. Message in the Wind and a host of other forms are too long to mention here currently. If we asked the question where else could one find a message, that list would be so very long. That would be all one would be talking about, more to the point, and where are these messages coming from? Do we want to know that, and does it matter if we do? If we are accepting messages, we can say that they arrive in many forms and places, to say the least.
The bigger question here is, are we getting them, when they arrive, and why not? Earlier I asked what messages are, there will be many answers that could be given here. In my view, the most direct would be a form of communication from one to another. Communication, it too comes in many forms, silence, writing or print, video, and voice, just to share a few. Next, many would want to ask, why would anyone want to tell me anything or share with me something? Not a bad question, answer, because wherever we humans travel, there is a standard question, only known to you in our seeking.
By the passing of my friend, it reminded me of my standard question, that I keep ignoring, that needs to be answered or accepted for it to go away. I believe that most of us do not know that there is a troubling question that we carry around with us. Maybe we do not want to know, because we may not love or want to know the outcome or not? The one that stops us from doing, and you will need to find out what is the question you have been asking. The answer to my question is doing, just get on with doing and stop, putting things on hold because of others. To start, get on the path, and look at where all our excuses have taken us to date, by not listening, just do it and see where it will take you.
