Trying to Out Run
A very good question indeed, if any question is ever good, so, what are we trying to get away from? Wherever you go you take you with you; the place will not change you; a change of place will not change you, you make the change. Your demons that lie within, you can never outrun them, they have found a home. So, no matter how far you run or want to run, even with the help of others.
Your friend is still home, those friends, not, the humankind, the one that brings you false hope and ideas of better times. Aka your thoughts and remember this, they’re always there for a short time. Always going up in smoke; poof gone, and you're left with holding on. Another question holding on to what after they leave?
Here is something, I hear time and time again, one can leave the country, but you cannot take the country out of the boy. There are many ways that the above has been repeated over my lifetime. You can see the result of that statement in recent days; no matter the reason one will set for leaving. The country takes control and the boy, the boy acts out, there is another way of saying it, he will bite the hand that is feeding him or her.
